Elysée Quartet – The Offering to Médoc :

An Exceptional and Supportive Concert

The Quatuor Elysée, celebrating its 30th anniversary, will present “L’Offrande au Médoc” at the prestigious Château Branaire-Ducru. Founded in 1995 by former members of the Anton and Ysaye Quartets, the ensemble has received unanimous acclaim from the international press: “One of the most interesting ensembles today…” (Le Monde de la Musique) and “A superbly structured and controlled quartet. A version full of pure grace and eloquence…” (International Record Review).

Their blend of the French and Russian schools offers a wealth of interpretation and expressive depth that is internationally renowned.

The Quatuor Elysée continues to renew the art of the string quartet with a refined approach and remarkable sonic cohesion, captivating audiences with its precision, sensitivity, and rare emotional power. The program promises an immersive experience featuring major works from the chamber music repertoire—offering Médoc audiences a unique opportunity to discover or rediscover this outstanding ensemble.

A Strong Social Commitment

This concert also stands out for its powerful message of solidarity.

In partnership with the ROTARY CLUB des Portes du Médoc and the association DANSER SOUS LA PLUIE, children with disabilities and their families will be specially invited.

This musical event is organized to benefit these children, with the goal of promoting inclusive access to culture in a welcoming and supportive environment.
