Ieva Sruogyte’s training is marked by Lithuanian and French schools acquired first in Vilnius (Prof. Petras Radzevicius) then in Lyon (Prof. Françoise Gnéri) and Paris (Prof. Antoine Tamestit, Prof. Laurent Verney).
Ieva Sruogyte is passionate about the contemporary repertoire in which she performs in ensembles such as Ensemble Intercontemporain, Ensemble Cairn or Ensemble Divertimento (Milan, Italy) and in many festivals in France, notably the Messiaen Festival in the Pays de la Meije or the Printemps des Arts Festival in Monaco. Ieva is also a founding member of the Confero piano quartet that performs in Lithuania and begins a multi-year residency at Trakai Castle. His chamber music partners include Philippe Bernold, Liana Gourdjia, Marc Coppey, Paul Roczek and Marianne Piketty. Ieva has flourished in the symphonic repertoire since the beginning of her career, notably when she represented Lithuania for three consecutive seasons with the European Union Youth Orchestra (EUYO).
It is regularly requested by French orchestras such as the Orchestre de l’Opéra National de Paris, the Orchestre National de Lille and the Orchestre de l’Opéra de Rouen Normandie. She joined the Orchestre national d’Île-de-France as 2nd soloist in March 2019.
Ieva is a teaching artist with a certificate of aptitude. She currently teaches at the municipal conservatory of the 16th arrondissement of Paris (CMA16). Ieva Sruogyte se passionne pour le répertoire contemporain dans lequel elle se produit au sein d‘ensembles tels que l’Ensemble Intercontemporain, l’Ensemble Cairn ou l’Ensemble Divertimento (Milan, Italie) et dans de nombreux festivals en France, notamment le Festival Messiaen au Pays de la Meije ou le Festival Printemps des Arts à Monaco. Ieva est également membre fondatrice du quatuor avec piano Confero qui se produit en Lituanie et commence une résidence de plusieurs saisons au château de Trakai.
Ses partenaires de musique de chambre comptent notamment Philippe Bernold, Liana Gourdjia, Marc Coppey, Paul Roczek ou Marianne Piketty. Ieva s’épanouit dans le répertoire symphonique depuis le début de son parcours, notamment lorsqu’elle a représenté la Lituanie pendant trois saisons consécutives au sein de l’Orchestre des Jeunes de l’Union Européenne (EUYO).
Elle est régulièrement sollicitée par des orchestres français comme l’Orchestre de l’Opéra National de Paris, l’Orchestre National de Lille et l’Orchestre de l’Opéra de Rouen Normandie. Elle intègre l’Orchestre national d’Île-de-France en tant que 2e soliste en mars 2019.
Ieva est une artiste enseignante titulaire du diplôme du certificat d’aptitude. Elle enseigne actuellement au conservatoire municipal du 16e arrondissement de Paris (CMA16). En 2016, elle a mené un projet pédagogique en partenariat avec l’institution El Sistema à Caracas (Vénézuela) qui s’intitule L’art comme moyen de communication.
